This is another colony of Social Feather-Duster Worms shot in Bimini. See the earlier description if interested in what Feather-Dusters are and how the live. This one is white, where the previous was purple. I found these on the same coral formation less than 2 feet apart.
Bimini -- this abandoned wreck has certainly seen better days in it's past. On our last day in Bimini, Karen and I decided to rent a Golf Cart and explore more of the top-side that Bimini has to offer. At the northern most point of the island, we came across an old graveyard with a trail that skirted it's boundary. As we followed that trail and crested a hill, it opened up to a beautiful view of the ocean and this long abandoned ship. It seemed fitting somehow that it should be found in close proximity to the graveyard itself. The ship itself provided an interesting photographic subject with it's contrast of a broken rusted hull against the beautiful clear aqua waters, blue sky and clouds.
Bimini -- Better Days I describes this scene.
